I love the thrill of a great deal!

StyleMeThrifted is a lifestyle blog dedicated to sharing ideas, insights, and inspiration on how to have a fabulously comfortable life, without breaking the bank.

The heart of StyleMeThrifted is loving life on a budget.

Like all of you, I have many roles – wife, mom, 8th grade social studies teacher, thrifter, daughter, sister, friend…I know how challenging it can be finding a healthy balance among your responsibilities and roles. I don’t have the answers, but I want you to know you’re not alone. My family is my life, but being a mom and wife is hard. It’s a mix of emotions – laughing, smiling, playing; occasionally bordering on one meltdown or disaster from screaming!

I am on a budget or rather I try to stick to one.  I love shopping and getting dressed, but having kids made me realize I couldn’t keep buying whatever I wanted at full price. One of the easiest ways I’ve been able to save a lot of money is through thrifting and shopping secondhand. I get my shopping fix, without blowing my budget.

If you are still reading, thank you! I’ll leave you with a few fun facts about me! 1. I love spicy foods. 2. Leopard is a neutral. Don’t let anyone tell you different! 3. Us Weekly mag and everything on BravoTV are my guilty pleasures!

I can’t wait to get to know you and share my fabulous frugal life with you!

❤ Kari

  1. Howdy from Nashville Ms. Fabulous Frugal Life, Kari! Nice meeting you on the blog-o-sphere. I love bikram yoga, decorating, wine, shopping and bargains! Looks like we might be a match made in heaven. Cheers!

  2. I am a bargin junkie too! Why pay retail when you can find really nice things at resale shops! I found silky blouses, new skirts, fun dresses at resale shops. Going out for dinner when you can make your own for a fraction of the cost …knowing your was made in a clean place, is important. Keep the frugal posts up sister, we all can use those great ideas of yours!!!!!

  3. Hello Kari!
