OOTD: Summer Day Dress

ootd summer day dress purple, gold, turquoise

Hello fabulous frugalistas and happy Friday! I apologize for not keeping up with my posts, I have a backlog of things to post about that I am hoping to get to before I go back to my “real job” as a teacher next month.

Purple short sleeve dress old Banana Republic Factory. I bought this dress a few years ago on clearance for something ridiculous like $9! I love a great clearance rack, BTW this weekend the Banana Factory stores have all clearance 75% off and you get an additional 20% off if you spend $100 or more and use your Banana, Gap, or Old Navy card! I might just make the drive to my nearby outlets!

Metallic flat sandals by Soda $7.99 at TJ Maxx.

Gold rhinestone star earrings $1 from my local flea market.

Mint drop necklace $7 from T+J Designs bought via a Living Social deal.

Have a fabulous weekend and let me know if you score any fabulous finds at the Banana Factory Clearance!

XO Kari

      1. The best book about jQuery I found so far: * Very helpful for beeirngns and mid-skilled web developers * Easy to read, good explanation of material * Whole book is build around real-life samples (not just documentation interpretation like in most other books) * Nice reference of main jQuery methods and properties at the end of book still use it all the timeHuge thank you to the authors!PS: one of the rare good technical books in our daysPPS (Dec 2012): After JQuery UI 1.9 release this book is a little bit out of date on API. Definitely will buy next edition of this book after jQuery UI API 2.0 release.
