I am most likely dating myself and being unfashionable by wearing a pair of gaucho pants in 2013, but oh well! I strongly feel that style is personal and that everyone should wear what they want to wear and what they like and what makes them feel good! Maybe I will start a one woman renaissance of the gaucho pants that were super popular in the early to mid 2000’s, but I doubt it! LOL!
Gray gaucho pants from Wet Seal, I bought these in college, probably in 2004 and I have no idea how much I paid, but probably less than $20. I guess the moral of this story is, that it is awesome that I can still fit into something I had nine years ago, and sometimes it pays off to be a clothes hoarder! I found these in my closet when I cleaned and organized it a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised to find they still fit!
Black shirt from Forever21, bought years ago, most likely cost less than $10. This is one of those shirts I have had for years that I just can’t part with. It is stretchy, so it has grown and shrunk with me since I bought it pre-pregancy. The sleeves could possible be considered flutter sleeves, with the multiple layers of material on each sleeve.
Black Double-Strap Calvin Klein Wedge Sandals from DSW, bought 4 years ago, can’t remember the price. I love these shoes and every time I wear them, I ask myself, “Why don’t I wear these more often?” They are so comfortable and so cute!
My pop of color was these red coral earrings I bought on clearance at Target last month for $3.48! You gotta love Target! I also wore my go to Badgley Mischka rose gold watch, details here.
This outfit is proof that it is okay to keep clothes for years, if not almost a decade or more! If you can fit into something and it isn’t ripped, worn out, or stained, I say keep it. You never know when you might need or want to wear an oldie but goodie!
