Life has been crazy this past week! My husband and I are cleaning and prepping our home for our son’s second birthday party, which I will post about next week! I had to recover from an amazing girls night slumber party on Saturday. I survived another Open House at my school Tuesday evening. Plus, I received notice that my blog had been nominated for the eBay Frugal Blog award, this is a shameless self-promotion – click here to vote for MFFL!
I love pink and black, it is a classic combo that reminds me of the Pink Ladies in Grease! When in doubt wear pink and black!
Black skinny jeans $14 from Forever21, these were a great find several years ago. Whoever says inexpensive clothes don’t last, never had these pants. They are fantastic because they have some stretch, I wore them throughout my pregnancy, no they aren’t maternity pants, after, and still wear them now. They have fit and stretched my body when I weighed 40 lbs more than I do now!
Pink scoop-neck t-shirt with button detail $6 from Banana Republic Outlet, bought a few weeks ago. I love this t-shirt! It is a soft, light weight cotton that is perfect for spring and summer. I love the little button and flap detail on the sleeves! I wish I would’ve gotten a better picture outside! My husband supports my blog, but refuses to be my photographer, so my self-portraits in my full length mirror will have to do!
I choose to wear all gold accessories today. I inherited these earrings from my grandmother, I have no idea where they are from, but I love them and like that they are lightweight. I also wore my fabulous cross necklace, last seen here and my fabulous rose gold watch, details are here.
I have mentioned this before, but I love wedges! I am not a stiletto or high heel girl. I have more pairs of wedges than I care to admit. Black criss-cross cork wedge sandals, I think I bought these three years ago in one of those cheap shoe stores in the mall where basically all of the shoes are under $20, before I went on a trip to Cabo. These shoes have held up extremely well and have been worth every penny! I stood and walked around my classroom all day and my feet feel great!
Hope your Thursday is fabulous!
xoxo Kari
Happy birthday to your son! :)
Thanks love!
Love the wedges and the toenail color! :)
Thank you! The polish is an oldie, revlon fast dry in coral. xo
