OOTD: First Day of Spring

I think Mother Nature is confused! The last two weeks in California have been gorgeous – sunny and warm. Today, the first day of spring was cold and rainy. I am ready for spring and hoping this winter-like weather passes soon. I am tired of wearing jackets, sweaters, and socks! I despise socks, one of the many reasons I love wearing flats and sandals and especially love spring and summer!

Black and white floral sweater $10.79 Banana Republic Outlet, last worn here. Black jeggings $11.99 TJ Maxx, last worn here. Tan riding boots $32.90 UrbanOg.com. Jewel tone scarf with gold $6 TJ Maxx. Badgley Mischka rose gold watch $89 Costco, more details here.I thought I was ready to go and realized my lightweight floral sweater wasn’t going to cut it today, so I grabbed an old jeans jacket I bought five or so years ago from the Gap. I don’t wear it very often, but I think everyone should have a jeans jacket in their wardrobe.

I thought I was ready with my jacket, then I realized I was forgetting my umbrella! Yes, the pile of laundry is still in the corner of my room, just pretend it isn’t there, I am! It was one of those mornings where we all slept in and I am just glad I got to work on time!

I found this adorable leopard print Chinese Laundry umbrella at Ross for $9.99. As my faithful readers know, I have a thing for animal prints, okay a borderline obsession. I am drawn to leopard prints in particular. I don’t think I need an intervention yet, but let me know when I do! I’m not a crazy cat lady per se, just a crazy leopard print lady!

Two more days until I start my Spring Break! Let’s hope the sun comes out soon!
