Daily Love Advice

I am not a fan of Valentine’s Day, at least not the commercialized, Hallmark version. Love is something that just is, love is daily, not one day.  Don’t get me wrong, I love and appreciate flowers, chocolates, and jewelry as much as the next fashionista, but you need to cultivate and celebrate love daily!

Daily Love Advice

1. Say I Love You

Tell the special people in your life how much you love them. Communicate these feelings in person, notes, texts, emails or any other method. Before leaving for work each morning I tell my husband and son how much I love them. I do the same before bedtime every night. I even tell them I love them when I am upset or angry at them! Do not wait until a holiday to tell someone you love them. Actually say the words I love you!

Always say, “I love you!”

2. Show Affection

Kiss, hug, and cuddle often. You will feel loved, they feel loved, it is a win-win situation! If you can’t physically be with someone, communicate your feelings or even mail a hug.

3. Eat Together

Everyone eats, you might as well spend the time with the ones you love. This gives you more time together and I always think things taste better when you have good company. eat togetherCaprese salad and our family “cheers” as my son says.

4. Spend Time Together

Simple and easy. The best gift you can give anyone is your time and attention. You can do this at home, running errands, or on a coveted date!
