For a long time, I like many people, thought if I bought the most expensive, name brand beauty products, they had to be better than the less expensive products. Now that my monthly budget has tightened by being a home owner and mother, I’ve stopped buying high-end products and have found amazing, comparable products for a fraction of the price from elf cosmetics.
Elf Cosmetics are amazing! Several years ago a friend of mine told me about elf (eyes lips face) at the time all products were $1 and only sold online.
Today, elf has expanded their product line to include mineral and studio lines and can be found in most drugstore beauty aisles. Elf still sells the amazing $1 products, most of the studio and mineral products are between $2-$6! The quality of elf products are amazing, considering their extremely reasonable prices.
My Five Must Have Elf Cosmetics
1. Eyeliner Pen
I would highly recommend the eyeliner pen for $1. I used to buy a similar product from Stila for $20, I honestly can’t tell the difference, but my wallet can!
2. Eyelid Primer
Another awesome $1 must have. The primer keeps your eyeshadow in place ALL day.
3. Shimmering Facial Whip
I absolutely love this $1 highlighter! I have every color, but I find that Toasted works best with my olive skin tone.
4. Liquid Lipstick
I have bought nearly every shade of the $1 liquid lipstick. My favorite is Sugar Kiss.
5. SPF 15 Mineral Foundation
This is one of the $5 studio line products. I have used Bareminerals and I could not tell the difference! Great coverage and excellent for setting your make up.
Bottom line – give elf cosmetics a try, you won’t be disappointed!
